01/30/05

The initiation of a new Hawk and Jackal priestess was performed on the New Moon.  I was able to meet with several members of the Las Vegas coven.  What a blast.  You know how Thelemites *Love* to party.

 

Soror Hypatia is no longer with the Sanctuary.  She has taken her leave and headed on to other pastures.  The hardest thing was watching her make a bad decision (IMO) while she was angry and confused.  Saying goodbye to her was tough, but as it is said:  "Every Man and every Woman is a Star...".  Remember the IAO formula when working with "people".

NEW MOON & FULL MOON RITES

The last two sessions of the Hawk and Jackal went very well.  Unfortunately, Soror Hypatia was unavailable.  The good news is that Naomi was available and performed admirably.  This was a first for the Coven as the ritual took place in two different areas at the same time.  Naomi was in Las Vegas while I was in the Bay Area.  While we did not have a video phone feed available, we did have audio and so the rite was performed.  Ahhh, modern technology.  Needless to say, Naomi also gave me the low-down on the first day of Internex-expo.  Ebony would be proud.

 

09/13/04

NEW MOON (Gold) RITE

The new moon working on September 13th.  There were two participants - myself and my priestess.  The rite was performed in the woods shortly after sunset with a small altar setup for proper use.  All went well and divination (Tarot and Yi Ching) was performed afterwards as we inspired to do so.

08/29/04

FULL MOON (Silver) RITE

The full moon working on August 29th went well.  Most of the participants were tired from a long weekend (for various reasons).  We started at sunset are were able to dive right in to the working after performing Liber Resh.  Invocation of the Gods and Goddesses went well and had quite a positive and uplifting effect on the participants.  All members partook of the feast at the end of the rite.  Requests were made to the Gods and Goddesses during the later part of the ritual by attending members.  Various Tarot divinations were performed for those who requested a reading.  Confirmation from the Gods and Goddesses were swift and positive.  The whole event went from about 8pm until 1am.  A long and fruitful night for all.

08/15/04

NEW MOON (Gold) RITE

The new moon working on August 15th went well.  There were two participants - myself and my priestess.  The rite was performed in the SF Bay Area this time (we were traveling).  All I can add for comment on this event is:  "Come forth, o children, under the stars, & take your fill of love!"  Liber AL vel Legis I:12.
